| The
next Accounting Research Workshop will take place at the University
of Fribourg (Switzerland) on June 10-11, 2011. The purpose is
to promote the exchange and discussion of state-of-the-art research
in accounting. We invite papers analyzing issues in Managerial
Accounting, Financial Accounting and Auditing from an economic
perspective. The focus of the workshop is on papers that use economic
modelling. Empirical and experimental papers testing economic
models are also welcome. As in previous years each accepted paper
will be assigned a discussant..
Possible Topics
- Performance measurement and incentive design
- Transfer pricing and budgeting
- Corporate governance and executive compensation
- Financial disclosure, earnings management
and cost of capital
- Economics of financial reporting and standard
setting
- Economic consequences of accrual accounting
- Economic roles of auditing

An electronic version of the submitted paper should

The deadline for paper submission is March 01, 2011.
To allow for an early travel planning, a final acceptance decision
will be made a.s.a.p. after the submission deadline but no later
